What do the nine types describe?

Each type organizes attention around a different set of needs, threats, and habitual strategies. Close scores are an invitation to compare patterns, not a scoring failure.

Look beneath the score and test the motive.

The report keeps all nine totals visible, then compares possible motivations with the recent example, counterexample, prior attempts, and next-month goal supplied by the participant.

Enneagram questions

About the test and report

What does an Enneagram test measure?

The Enneagram is a framework for comparing nine recurring patterns of attention, motivation, protection, and response. Psychdom reports all nine totals so close patterns remain visible.

Will this test tell me one definite Enneagram type?

Not always. Exact ties remain tied and types within two points of the lead remain a close comparison cluster. Motivation and repeated evidence matter more than forcing one label from a narrow score gap.

What is an Enneagram wing?

A wing is one of the two types immediately beside the display-leading type. Psychdom shows a probable wing only when the adjacent totals differ by more than one point. An unclear wing remains unclear.

What is included in the free Enneagram report?

The private report includes all nine scores, a personalized synthesis, competing motivation hypotheses, detailed type comparisons, conditions that may shift the pattern, two-week experiments, the participant's written context, and a downloadable PDF.

Is the Enneagram a clinical personality assessment?

No. This questionnaire is for reflection and education. It is not a diagnosis, validated psychometric classification, hiring recommendation, or substitute for professional assessment.
