Inside your Career Direction Report
See how a report connects an example with a practical next step.
1. A direction worth investigating
Learning and operations support could combine explaining, problem-solving and organisation. This is a direction to investigate, not a job match or a prediction of success. Compare the actual weekly tasks of training coordination, process support and customer education with activities you have enjoyed doing repeatedly.
2. Constraints and evidence
Maintaining income rules out an immediate unpaid transition. Before buying a course, check local vacancies for required experience and ask two people in relevant roles about the balance of teaching, administration and customer contact. Rule out a direction if its daily tasks or entry conditions conflict with the participant's stated constraints.
3. A staged exploration plan
In the first 30 days, compare five realistic vacancies and produce a small example explaining a process you know well. Over 90 days, test a training or documentation task in an existing role if available. Over 12 months, revisit the evidence, income requirements and skill gaps before deciding whether to seek an adjacent role or invest in retraining.
